IMPACT: Inspire a culture of consumer obsession across the organization by embedding insights to drive decision-making and sustained brand growth
Worked up through five roles to manage Insights across makeup, skincare, hair care and hair color categories from brands such as Maybelline, Kiehl’s and Redken
IMPACT: Influenced brand-building and repositioning strategies to drive business growth and connectedness to the consumer
Provided global insights and shaped strategy for fragrance brands such as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang
IMPACT: Leveraged insights to optimize brand decisions from packaging to juice to consumer targets
Fueled the innovation pipeline by uncovering unmet consumer needs and developing new business model opportunities
IMPACT: Drove insights in Japan, US, and UK that led to pilot opportunities in the fintech space
Managed the buildout and product evolution of a B2B online trading platform
IMPACT: Managed developers, trained traders on the floor, and incorporated video game functionality into the trading experience
Drove process reengineering across clients spanning pharmaceuticals, government and financial services
IMPACT: Produced significant savings through improved and streamlined technology and services
I wasn’t sure the MBA investment was worth it, but my former boss encouraged me to do it so no future door would be closed to me. In my first year of the part-time program, it indeed opened the door to the beauty industry and a new trajectory into consumer Insights
My high school chemistry teacher inspired my love for that field, but after getting daily headaches while interning at a food chemistry lab, I expanded my major to include business, not only because I wanted to feel healthier, but because I loved interacting with people!
